BAGGAGE

BAG FEES

You will be responsible for covering your baggage fees. American Airlines and Delta bag fees are $25 for the 1st bag and $35 for the 2nd bag. 1 free personal item and 1 free carry-on is allowed.

Pack Light. Your baggage cannot weigh over 50 pounds or you will incur an additional surcharge.

TSA LIMITS

Be mindful of TSA Limits. The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) places limits on the amount of liquid you can carry on. Liquids (gels, lotions, etc.) in a carry-on bag must be three ounces or smaller and packed together in a quart-sized, clear plastic bag. For more detailed information, visit the TSA’s website.

SPARE CLOTHES

Bring a spare change of clothes in a carry-on in case your baggage gets lost.

IDENTIFICATION

Bring proper identification for travel. A valid passport with an expiration date of no less than 6 months following the conclusion of the trip is required. Must be a full passport, not a passport card. Don't leave home without it.

TRAVEL TIPS

CREDIT CARDS

Call your debit and credit card companies before you leave and let them know you are traveling out of state. This will help avoid declined transactions or failed ATM withdraws.

BE EARLY

Arrive to the airport early. 2 hours is recommended for international travel. Additional flights are not available!

Appriximately 2.5 hours flight time for the east coast

Approximately 5.5 hours flight time from Texas ( will require a connecting flight)

TIME DIFFERENCE

Bermuda observed Atlantic StandardTime, therefore it is 2 hours ahead of Central Time and 1 hour ahead Eastern Time

WIRELESS SERVICE AND WI-FI

Free WiFi service is provided at the resort. Be sure to contact your wireless provider to determine international call and data details. Please note, Stream Wireless does not offer international service. Download your favorite communication apps on your smartphone to be able to make WiFi calls. i.e. Stream Global Connect, WhatsApp, Facebook, etc... For those of you who are iPhone users, you will be able to text other iPhone users via iMessage while on Wi-Fi. And of course download the Streamcation app that will allow you to communicate with one another.

WHAT TO BRING

TRANSPORTATION

We have arranged ground transportation to and from the Kahului Airport and the Grand Wailea Resort. You are only responsible for your travel to and from your home and local airport.

After you retreive your luggage, look for the “Stream” signs. They will direct you outside to private shuttles. The drive from the airport to Grand Wailea Resort is approximately 30 minutes.

Getting around the island of Bermuda is easy. Taxi service is the primary mode of transporation. Car rental is not available in Bermuda. Moped rental is available but not recommended due to safety concerns . The Twizy is a fun way to get around the island and is available for rent The hotel provides ltransportation to their provate beach club. Group transportation can be arranged with your excursions. EXPENSES

While this is not an all-inclusive hotel, daily breakfast for 2 at the resort is included and each person will receive a pre-loaded Stream Freedom Visa Card with a one-time credit amount of $600 that can be used for meals anywhere on the island.

Stream will provide meals at the Stream Beach Party, Stream Farewell Extravaganza, as well as a one-day group excursion and one private dining experience with Stream Executives. This means you are responsible for any other charges, including transportation to and from your home town airport, airline baggage fees, meals, golf, spa treatments, drinks, retail shopping and any other activities and excursions. You will be required to provide a credit card upon check-in to cover additional charges. Please note- The resort will hold $50 per day on your credit card or Stream Freedom Card. If the $50 is not used, it will roll over to the next day. See the activities page for estimated cost for excursions.

DINING & SHOPPING

The Fairmont Hamilton Princess is home to 3 delightful restaurants and bar & grills including the Marcus' but eh internationally acclaimed chef Marcus Samuelsson. Daily breakfast for 2 is included in your room rate.

Be sure to get off property where you will find great local spots. Downtown Hamilton is walking distance from the hotel.

The Shops at Wailea is a five minute walk away from the Grand Wailea Resort and is where you can find great dining including The Cheeseburger Grill, Tommy Bahama Restaurant and Bar, and tons of shopping.

Many local favorites are a short car ride away, including the famous Ululani's Shaved Ice and Coconut's Fish Cafe. See the google map below to find restaurants and shopping in the Wailea/Kihei area.

ATTIRE

This is Hawaii - casual attire is the norm! You may want to opt for long pants or a sundress for dinners. Be prepared with more adventurous gear for off-site activities and excursions.

WEATHER

Bermuda's weather is what you would experience on the mid-east coast of the US. Expect highs in the low 80s and lows in the upper 60s. While you’ll be wearing shorts or swimwear in the day, you might want a light sweater or jacket in the evenings.
